Deicke Richards designs for Metro Property projects

Metro Property Development has released details of its plans for a $450m mixed-used precinct on the corner of Brunswick and Water streets, Fortitude Valley. Deicke Richards and bureau^proberts have been named as architects for the development which will include more than 750 apartments as well as retail and commercial space.

Deicke Richards will provide urban design and architecture services to the project, which is located just around the corner from the practice’s Baxter Street building. The Metro precinct is also adjacent to the RNA Showgrounds and its regeneration development – the largest urban renewal project in Queensland and the largest brownfield development of its type in Australia.

Deicke Richards’ architects are also contributing to Metro’s plans for a 165-apartment residential project in South Brisbane, on the corner of Russell and Manning streets.
