John Paul College Master Plan Revision 2011

Client: John Paul College

This 2011 master plan review was completed in a one-day enquiry by design workshop with key school leaders and stakeholders. The review tested the school’s existing master plan, created by Deicke Richards in 2008. The passage of time as well as changes in funding and the appointment of a new principal prompted the opportunity to review the school’s planning priorities.

During the workshop the chapel was identified as an important focus for the immediate future development of the campus. A need for a stronger campus address and a central hub for the students were also identified. The outcomes offered further refinement to the existing plan and focused on the use of a recently purchased site and the integration a proposed new chapel and performing arts complex.
