Eloise Atkinson

Eloise is a registered architect with more than 15 years’ experience, offering clients specific expertise in affordable housing and community design. She has worked extensively with Queensland Government departments, community organisations and private developers in the design of public and community housing projects.

She has also led research projects with Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Government, investigating design guidelines for boarding houses and affordable housing. Eloise is a recipient of a Churchill Fellowship to study innovative design in affordable housing and is a director on the board of the Brisbane Housing Company, the largest not-for-profit housing developer in Brisbane.

Eloise oversees the teams currently working on a new residential project for Churches of Christ in Queensland and the Northern Territory’s first mixed-tenure housing development, a $40m project in Darwin. In the education sector, Eloise leads our work on Hymba Yumba, a community school for Indigenous students at Springfield.
